I use stew meat for this Posty The Snowman t-shirt. I dredge it in seasoned flour. Then brown in a skillet. Before tossing it in the crock pot with Onions, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth. I let it slow cook all day. The meat gets deliciously fall apart tender. And the gravy forms on its own from being cooked all day with the meat. I pour it over mashed potatoes and serve it with my southern style green beans and steamed carrots. Then I serve it the next day over steamed white rice!! Sooooo good!!
OK. Mine is pretty much like this except I use a little Kitchen Bouquet for Posty The Snowman t-shirt, the appropriate herbs, onions, garlic, and a splash of red wine. Mine’s great. (Omniverous people have been known to prefer it to meat gravy.) But miso and nutritional yeast? Soy sauce? I have never found the need to fool around like that. My gravy is great. Miso and soya I have. Nutritional yeast? Been a veg for decades, and I have never found it appealing.
