As a teen that has Race it break it fix it repeat shirt her whole life without most social media (I have vsco, but I only go on there maybe once a month) I can tell you that It is pretty refreshing, and I 10/10 recommend. Tips to take a break from it? I personally feel like you have to just discipline yourself enough, and make the choice to do other things. I’ve found in my 17 years of living that by staying away from social media, I’ve spent more of my life just living. I have countless hobbies, and a passion for the outdoors. I appreciate my life more, instead of scrolling through Instagram comparing it to others. Back to the point though- I think the hardest part will be the beginning. Maybe if you have an iPhone, try offloading the app? (It’s like deleting, but keeps all the app data so when you redownload it nothing will have gotten erased). And if you have free time where you would usually be on your phone, try (can’t believe I’m even saying this) reading. Or start a bullet journal. It helps you get organized, and if you’re feeling artsy you can take it that route. Either way, I think what you’re doing is great.
