I would like to address the reasons that have been brought Chelsea Final 2021 UEFA Champions thank you for the memories shirt. Most people find fault or object to the playing style of the team, which has been joked about and made fun of. Champions League season 2011-12 is where I believe everyone started seriously questioning Chelsea’s PARK THE BUS approach. I am one strong supporter of the way Chelsea played. Ruthless pragmatism, as Frank Underwood would say. If you had the option of defeating Magnus Carlsen, you definitely would not choose a chessboard to be your battleground. And against teams which play the possession game with fluidity, Chelsea find their counter-punch in a counter-attacking play based on a strong defensive discipline. I, for one, find this to be an extremely intense experience watching a team wait for the perfect moment to strike, like a predator waiting for its prey to get fatigued and make a mistake. And it is no mean feat either. They did it against Barcelona at the Nou Camp with 10 men. And it is not only Chelsea who I admire watching play in this manner. The 2010 UCL semi-final won be Mourinho’s Inter was a perfect example of this strategy, which I find to be a better execution than the semi-final tie over which “PARK THE BUS” was phrased. And it is not that just Chelsea and other stronger teams are not faced up with this situation against smaller teams who put their bodies on the line to get a point. Chelsea against West Ham in the Premier League would be a good reference for the same. So, let everyone play their game. Some teams are good at attacking, free flowing football, some play physical, some teams will keep running off the ball, some will thump the ball down the field as soon as th

Of course, Chelsea have proven to be a major thorn in everyone’s life who follows the Premier League. Reason: Needs a bit of history. Before Chelsea got rejuvenated by the Russian moola ( the rubles) flowing through the club, the Premier League was owned by Manchester United and Arsenal. Liverpool had not ( they still haven’t) won for God knows how long, and Arsenal had won the league thrice. Apart from that, it was all United. Thus, when this new kid full of the Terries and the Lampards and the Robbens and the Drogbas and the Duffs started to rock the League, with a tactically proficient manager at the helm who had a liking to make waves across the press, things were bound to seem unpleasant. After all, here are these clubs full of accomplishments and accolades and stuffed trophy cabinets with a crazy fan following throughout the world, who have been trophy-less for some time now. Manchester saw a rival emerging in London. And believe me, sudden rise causes hatred. People would question the money, call it unfair. Raise questions about the club’s legacy. After all, it was a club that featured in jokes and songs, not in record books. Thus, you have it. It is the same reason for which people cannot digest City’s rise. It is for the same reason that people despise AS Monaco and Paris Saint Germaine. It has to happen. There are no two way about it.
